I stayed in a classic double room. the room size suited my needs with all provided amenities. breakfast was excellent and offered a wide variety. i appreciated the well maintained grounds surrounding the hotel. The landscape was beautiful.

efficient check-in really good service attentive care
I found the check-in process swift and efficient, the facilities were noticeably clean. ruby h, our server, provided really good service in the restaurant. she ensured our table and those around us received attentive care. Nothing seemed too much trouble for her, it seemed. i particularly appreciated her dedication to ensuring we had a good meal.

i found the staff helpful and courteous, they were quick to address any queries. louis, in particular, was attentive and polite. he exhibited genuine care in ensuring guests felt welcomed and supported.

The grounds offered designated walking paths, inviting exploration. The surrounding landscape was very scenic. nearby, i saw the hadrian's wall provided a wonderful day trip. the location was perfect! though the parking was expensive.

abby, the restaurant manager, looked after us very WELL. nothing was a bother for her. she is great.
the hotel looks very beautiful from the outside. the cleanliness in my room was a let down. it needs to be upgraded. THE music from the bar below was loud and played until around 1am.

tidy room great view friendly staff
I enjoyed my time at the hotel. my room was tidy with great views. the staff was very friendly especially samuel mcbride. He knows his job well.
the pillows in the room were very soft and uncomfortable. some stairs lacked handrails. this made me apprehensive due to a disability.

the room was a decent size with good amenities. i appreciated the polite and understanding staff. the service was tremendous .
the pool area looked tired. i noticed missing tiles around the pool. the artificial rocks looked like they were falling apart, a shame.
